2017:

"There’s Always That House You Got In Texas”

My daughter and I moved back to Texas in 2017, where she began kindergarden in nearby Nolanville. I’d a house that I bought in the military and had rented it out for the years I was gone. It was a pig sty and badly in need of repairs. Gail and I to stayed in a friends basement as I began my fight with the bank over foreclosure proceedings, having no longer a good credit rating and not a penny to my name, it took me 8 months to move back into my own home.

Once Back In Texas

Now, I’d the time to contemplate what my next step could be. I began dabbling in animation and animations. However, this time, not code animations in CSS or .js, but actual cartoon animation. Like the Tom & Jerry cartoons I grew up with and loved.

It was something my daugther and I could do together. Eventually, I got work for a non-profit which worked with military children and their families. Using childrens images as the base for animations, we could bring the childrens drawn stories life....

Covid 19:

I'd started a new job in Jan. 2020. I was “released” 87 days on a new job. Just 3 days shy of the 90 day employment requirement for unemployment benifits, [since they were denied funding from congress and their yearly fundraiser(s) would be cancelled. Ever heard of a “Shoe in”? Well this was, “Shoe out”....the door before 90days benifits could kick in.

I decided to continue learning and developing animations and utilized the holiday to dive, head on, into this genre. There's Moore, but that's all for now.

2024:

I've taken the year 2024 to fix up my house in texas and sell it. Excited about the next oppportunity.
